SpinRecipe isn't in my share sheet
  1. Tap Share on a post or page.
  2. Scroll the row of app icons to the end and tap More.
  3. Tap Edit, then add SpinRecipe to Favorites so it stays near the front.

If SpinRecipe isn't listed under More either, restart your iPhone and try again.

How do I add the widget?
  1. Touch and hold an empty part of your Home Screen until the apps jiggle.
  2. Tap Edit, then Add Widget.
  3. Find SpinRecipe, choose the small or medium size, and tap Add Widget.

Tap Spin on the widget to change the recipe. Tap the card to open it in the app.

The dish name is just the first line of the caption

SpinRecipe names dishes with Apple Intelligence. Check that your iPhone supports it and that it's on in Settings, under Apple Intelligence & Siri. Right after you turn it on, the model can take a while to download; names improve once it's ready. SpinRecipe's own Settings shows whether Apple Intelligence is available.

You can rename any card by opening it and tapping its name.

Some cards have no picture

Pull down on the Home screen to refresh. SpinRecipe looks for the missing pictures again. If a post was deleted or made private, its picture can't be fetched.

My recipes aren't on my other iPhone or iPad

Both devices need to be signed in to the same Apple Account with iCloud turned on for SpinRecipe. New cards usually appear within a minute; opening the app on the other device brings them in, and its widget updates after that.

The widget shows an old recipe

Open SpinRecipe once. The widget refreshes from the app whenever it opens, and after every recipe you save.

Can I get titles in English?

Yes. In SpinRecipe's Settings, turn on Recipe titles in English. Recipes you share after that get their name, tags and recipe in English. Cards you already saved stay as they are.
